Re: Suppressor for RARR

SilencerCo Harvester 300 is a great option if you can get it across the pond. It's very quiet, and at 11oz with mount (about 0.31kg), you barely even notice it on the end of your gun. Silences the RARR very well. I've had zero point of impact shift so far.

Re: for anyone following the new 350 legend - saami drawing released

There's been a bit of discussion on it over here : https://thereloadersnetwork.com/2019/01/31/350-legend-specifications/ It looks like I would rather have .357 AR Max rimless, which is the same idea minus needing proprietary brass to avoid case head separations. You can start from virgin starline b...

Re: for anyone following the new 350 legend - saami drawing released

In 125 years cartridge design is now full circle, instead of making bottlenecks out of straightwall cartridges, wildcatters are making straightwalls out of bottlenecks. Somebody needs to chop the 350 case and neck it down to .30. Aww maaaan... Someone beat us to the punch! https://www.t...

Re: Need Help - Subsonic Rounds Tumbling

I've got a 9" barrel with a 1 in 8" twist and I've shot heavy boat tail projectiles just fine out of my gun as subs. I haven't experienced any issues with yawing, tumbling, or key holing out to at least 50 yards. Projectiles I've used: 220gr Sierra BTHP 210 Berger VLD Hornady 220gr BTHP H...

Re: New member needs upper set up advice

What barrel length would be best and what twist considering I'll be using subs and supers? I will be reloading ( any starting load data would be appreciated) The can will probably be on most the time, any comments about having handguards over some/most of the can? Maybe something like https://www.a...

Re: SBR Interstate transport

At this point I feel a little bad for even posting the question. So, I'm filling a form 20. If it comes back I take the SBR, if not I use the AR10. I'm not the type to want to be a test case for anything and while I can find ATF confirmation that putting a16" upper on it makes it legal, I can ...

Re: SBR Interstate transport

You know, just fill out the forms and submit them ASAP and hope the government opens up and the form gets approved in time. Make sure you have a backup plan, however. Prepare a full rifle length upper (if you have one) or another firearm to take with you should it not come back in time. Yes, the gov...

Re: New member needs upper set up advice

I've got an 9" barrel, 1 in 8" twist. Runs supers and subs excellently. I've got a Silencerco Harvester 30 that sits inside the handguard and I don't think I've ever gotten it hot enough with subs to radiate enough heat to make the handguard hot. I'm also running a piston, so if anything, ...

Re: Have they fixed Ruger American Ranch Rifle's feeding problem???

From what I can tell, looking at the new ranch rifle design that takes AR mags, the bolt itself has relief cuts milled into it for proper function. Such cuts are not present on the original ranch rifles. So no dice getting a new stock and bottom metal for the AR mags.
