Re: Shotguns: Specifically Defensive

Don't want to join the debate. Carry what you want. I bought a well used 500 about 32 years ago and I have put thousands of shells through it. Mainly trap loads and deer slugs. Never let me down. My home defense gun is the 500 with 18" slug barrel with 7.5 trap loads. Some folks on gooftube sla...

Re: Zeroing Subsonic Bullets

I shoot a thermal scope and it has electronic settings for different guns and ammunition. You change one number and you are back on zero for a particular rifle and load. Pretty amazing actually and so it does function as a multi purpose scope at the cost. I am waiting on the new laser rangefinder f...

Re: Looking for help cycling 220 grain subsonic

Yes carbine gas system. Is there a way to do it with different weight recoil parts? I don't know enough physics, but perhaps a heavy buffer and a light spring? Have you tried a standard buffer and spring? are you absolutely sure the gas block is lined up properly on the gas port? I have a 16" ...

mike dillion 1935-2016

Just got my latest blue press today and it appears mike dillion has passed. Got my first dillon press over 30 years ago an rl450 still rock solid. Good man and a good company.

Re: ATN X-sight optics

Good to know you can reset it with the app. The FB group is better at helping with most software issues than ATN. If you have problems with ATN customer srevice you can email the CEO and he can expedite things. He did for me.

Re: ATN X-sight optics

Very nice. Be warned the customer service/support is questionable at best, whatever you do, don't set the range to 0 ft... Join the atnowners forum if you haven't, they are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Ditch the batteries and get an external pack. You can save a lot buying the componen...

Re: Voting

You deserve the government you vote for.
you deserve the government you don't vote against.
if you don't vote you don't deserve to complain about the government you get.

if you are not involved in the decision don't bitch about the result.
