Re: Primer pressure signs?

I am not too concerned about the first firing and would try again using some once fired brass now that you have a few pieces. Carefully set back the shoulder for reliable feeding but not too much. Factory ammo can make similar marks on the case heads since the brass was not originally sized to fit ...

Re: Primer pressure signs?

The the shiny round mark at 10 o'clock is from the ejector and the sharp edge around the pin strike, early pressure signs/over gassed. Gas port is too big, load is close to max. Confirm that with your gas port size of .125" and load being .2 grains from max listed. Could be as simple as a diff...

Re: Anyone usin Dillon Dies?

I'll agree save your money. Dillions dies are really nice. They come apart which is really nice especially if you have ever had brass get stuck in the resizing die... I have a set of dillion dies that I have reloaded 5k 9mm rounds per year for the last 2 years. They still work as good as the day I b...

Re: under-gassed AR HELP!

Hi All!
Good news my rifle is cycling just fine now! Used a 14.0gr load of H110 with 168gr Amax's and no issues. Towards the end the bolt wasn't locking back on the empty mag. But no feed issues for 50rnds. Was shooting 5 at a time. Seems like this power gums up my gas rings pretty quick.
