Re: CMMG 8.5" 300blk
Hey, speaking of the 8.5, what weight buffer is recommended with the OE gas port? I did read that some were enlarging, but right now I'm trying to perfect Remmy supers through this setup with however this barrel was sent from the factory. With an H2 I was getting some random FTF. It was ejecting, bu...

Re: CMMG 8.5" 300blk
The GT 187's are particularly dirty and gassy Picked up some on discount, but no more. I will be interested to see hwo they cycle with my 8" CMMG barrel - just refit a DSA upper and other than having problems with FTE (maybe bolt?) it's a very good barrel.

SDN-6 not budging from MPW
Took out my 9" MPW with SDN-6 a week ago and after about 200 rounds of subs and a couple of mags of supers (all factory, mostly Remington) the can refuses to budge from the mount. The ratchet lock can be depressed, but can does not move. Any tricks to getting this off again?

Velocity Differences between 9, 12.5, 16" AAC Uppers with Question
The tax stamp on my "NOS" AAC MPW 9" SBR dropped last week. Incidental to jumping both feet into 300blk, over the last couple of years I ended up collecting the 3 barrel lengths that AAC offered in 300blk. This of course gives me the opportunity to run velocity comparison's while tryi...

Re: JP Silent Capture Buffer Spring Do it or dont do it?
I love the silent spring setups, I run the heavy with the 12.5" setup and that has always worked great and seemed to match the H2 manuf reco. I bought the standard weight to run with the AAC 16" upper, but it would not lock back consistently with either supers or subs. JP recommended tryi...
