Re: Load development while waiting on suppressor
On a 300BLK pistol I've seen no velocity change to about 5 fps increase with the can. I believe the 5 fps increase is statistically insignificant.

Re: Sighting a scope in for subs and supers?
On my "accurate" carbine length 300BLKs, the scope turrets are set to 0/0 for a 100yd supersonic zero. 50yd subsonic zero is at "8" on the elev turret, which is up 8 moa I guess. I have supersonic and subsonic BDC charts taped to the stock (or laminated & hanging off the scop...

Re: New guy here, have a question
I'm a satisfied user of the Lee three die set also. Have had no problem reforming a couple thousand 223 cases with the sizing die early on, though I haven't done that lately since 300BLK brass has become pretty common.

Re: SIG Brass
Working fine for me so far, though a friend had a box of Sig factory ammo recently that pushed several primers out. I didn't police up any of that brass.

Re: What's wrong with making 300 BLK brass?
I made a lot of 300BLK brass 4-7 years ago when it wasn't too common, but haven't lately since it's become almost a mainstream cartridge & I can get plenty of once-fired stuff at the range. A regime change can easily change brass availability, so keeping the chopsaw & jig to convert 223/5.56...

Re: Any Rhyme or Reason to POI Shifts?
I've found POI shift to be gun related & not load related. Your observation of different POI shifts with sub & supersonic loads is interesting: I haven't seen that.

Re: New .308 build. Having trouble with ejecting shells.
An adjustable gas block pretty much solved that problem on my store-bought LR308. I guess it was an overgassing issue; the bolt was blown back too soon while the case is still expanded & "stuck" in the chamber.

Re: first 300 blk: upper or bolt gun
My AR is less finicky & more reliable than my bolt gun, if you can believe that. My bolt gun is just a smidge quieter shooting subsonic suppressed, but they're both Hollywood quiet flinging the slow fat ones through the muffler.
YMMV, of course.

Re: Any of you have a Judge or Governer?
Yeah, that's the as-purchased pic. A new glow rod was installed in the front sight about ten minutes after the picture was taken. Things to check if you happen to find a used one: - Make sure the frame isn't cracked under the grip, & make sure the grip screw threads aren't stripped. - Check cyli...
