Re: Teaching Respect

The shame is that the coach has to make the point in the first place. Pretty sure I knew the words in first grade.

Re: Optic for deer hunting at 100 yards?

A fixed power scope has a lot going for it. I have an OLD fixed 6 Leupold, so old it does not have click adjustments, that I use as a backup scope. I wouldent have a problem using it again as a primary on a bolt gun intended for medium ranges, 2-400yds but 6 is too much for most of my hunting. 2-7 w...

Re: Optic for deer hunting at 100 yards?

So far the small objective is not a problem, but my experience is limited with it. I read an article a few years ago that put some serious doubts in my head about "Bigger is Better", there was a bunch of physics involved that made my brain hurt enough that I don't recall the details. For m...

Good haul! Don't know where you're at but down here (NWGA) the chiggers ar all up in the blackbrries so you gotta know what you are doing or they will make you pay. Up in the hills the bears can be an issue too.

Re: Remy light primer strikes?

Yeah, one of those is on my list of things to get, I've been too lazy to get back into reloading but if I'm going to do it I will be really anal about it.

Re: Remy light primer strikes?

Ok, so after skimming all those links it's looking like ammo and not the gun, went back through the brass and it's all Barnes brass, I guess I never got into the Sumit stuff. The RARR problems I had heard about so I really discounted the ammo from the equation. Looks like I may be pulling the Barnes...
