Re: Another "Best" Suppressor ?

Just an observation on cans. I use an Omega with 240gr SMK. H-110 is ridiculously quiet and very accurate, considering the bullet and speed. I have also used 4227 with 190, 208 and 220 gr. Similar results. I bought a Hybrid 45 and have been using it on everything. 7mag, 300 mag, 300 blk etc. the 45 ...

Re: Light Weight subsonic Single Shot Loads

I see a lot of loads using lighter grain projectiles. I have a lot of the leatherhead 240's that work great with 9.5 grains of 4227 out of my AR. Will they be ok in my new 700 blackout? This is my exact load out of my Mod 7 AAC 16” with 240 SMK’s. 1050-1076fps. Very accurate load in my gun. I use 1...

Re: Bolt Gun Loads for Heavy Bullets

I have W296 (same as H110) and a bunch of 4227. I haven't used those in my bolt gun cause I think they will be slower burning and thus louder than powders like N320, Red Dot or Trailboss. I use H-110 and IMR 4227. I have a hard time believing anything could be quieter than H-110. It is stupid quiet...

Re: Bolt Gun Loads for Heavy Bullets

190 SMK might not be considered “heavy” but it will exit a pig with enough energy to kill the pig next to it. While I have known that they will exit, I have tested it twice killing pigs on the off side. 190 grain Nosler Custom Competition (Same as SMK) 9.5 IMR 4227 1079 fps 16” Model 7 I might back ...

It’s so quiet, we call it the pellet gun. The Omega certainly has a lot to do with it. I can’t imagine a quieter load though.

Re: 190 sub-x same as 190?

My electronic Hornady reloading guide shows 190’s at super speeds only 1100-1300fps. Lists the typical powders. IMR 4227, H110, 296, Lil Gun etc. No subsonic load data though. Then it lists the 190 Sub-X and I was surprised at the powders. None of the typical characters were listed. Instead it lists...

Re: Started a YouTube Channel.....

I love watching thermal hunting videos. It’s like chopper pig hunting. You know what’s going to happen, it happens over and over, but you watch the whole thing anyway.

Well done. Keep it up 👍🏼

Re: Coyote Load

I haven’t noticed coyotes to be too tough. Anything seems to ruin their day and simultaneously solve all their problems. Many schools of thought. Most accurate under 135 gr, or smallest, fastest load possible. Both is ideal. Obviously, lightest fastest bullet/load combo that his twist barrel will sh...

Kind of like the last fat chick at the bar. Someone will take it and be happy. Let them be happy.
