Re: 55gr plinking loads...Varget or ????

Varget is a great powder to have around. you can put it in just about any rifle round you want to. It may not be the best powder for all rounds but you can make it work. I use to have 20 different powders around I maybe down to 6-8 now.

Re: What about a home based FFL?

It's the FFL's record book. ANY and every gun that comes in the shop has to be recorded in the book.

Re: What about a home based FFL?

A retired friend of mine has a FFL, but doesn't buy and sell. Just does transfers. Like Scratch, on his dinning room table. He's had to chase down a few, of the many, drivers that drop at the house, if hes not Johnie-on-the spot to the door, they just leave. You have to know him and/or call and tell ...

Re: What next AR 15 to build??

I was going to say 6x45. I just got done with mine, waiting on dies. Got a 20" barrel from Black Hole for $90, shipped to my door at their end of the year sale. Thing listed for $360. Maybe a .277 wolverine? I've said it before, it comes down to brass for me.

Democratic candidate saws AR-15 in half

Karen Mallard, a Virginia Democratic congressional candidate, cut an AR in half(well she cut the barrel down to like 6") and now the ATF is investigating. She said "she wanted to take one gun off the street". It was her husband's gun. She denies she made an illegal weapon. She said sh...

Re: SBR 300 BO

If you have problems you look for help. If you don't have problems, you go to the range. More people are shooting, not fixing.

Re: SBR 300 BO

SBR doesn't mean SUB, I shoot supers out of mine from time to time. I must have lucked out when I built my SBR. I have had NOT one problem with it, well PMC brass will stop both of my BLKs. But I have not shot EVERY bullet out of it only 110, 125, 150, 180, 190, 220, 225gr. I was here alot after I b...

Re: SBR 300 BO

I don't think my 1911 can hold a group at 100 yds like my 300BLK.

Re: 224 Valkyrie

A guy just asked my about the 224 Valkyrie. I told him the info I know/had. He asked if "anybody was making it in a bolt gun?". I told him he was missing the point of the thing fitting in the AR mag. Told him there are a lot of others that can best it in a bolt gun. He doesn't wont an AR. ...
