possibly ammo related? I know depending on my ammo, the groups on my 20 inch 308 can be as small as 3 rounds touching at 100 yards, and 3-4 inches at 100 yards. At first I thought my rifle was a POS, then switched to some silver state armory, and first 3 rounds touched.

Good luck finding an AAC 9" upper right now. They are fairly hard to come by at the moment. If AAC ever gets around to starting production again it'll help. I actually had mine for sale recently, had 3 300blk uppers for sale, but the two cheaper ones (8.5 and 10.5 inch) sold first, so I decide...

They have bushmaster lowers on sale quite often. When I want a budget rifle, I just grab a spikes lower from my local gun shop since they are always in stock. Why not sell your upper and buy a 9 inch or build one? The AAC bcg his fairly sought after.
