Re: Plinkin' CVA V2 Suppressed
Glad y'all had a good time. My godson would shoot my CVA all day long. He loved it and chose it over my AR every time.

Re: Plinkin' CVA V2 Suppressed
Thanks. I have a couple of these workbenches but think they are NLA. Both have a lift off top which sits inside the folded base clamping on to the center pipe so they are flat when stowed. I have padded tops on them which I made by hot gluing black vinyl over carpet cut to fit the bench top. The Cob...

Welcome GB. Unfortunately the forum has been pretty dead for some time. Good members here but not much activity sadly.

Re: Expansion of bullets in a Subsonic cartridge.
Lehigh makes .308 bullets designed to expand at sub velocities and has load data for them on their site. Re: New $109 .22LR Bolt Action Threaded BBL
I've been using this rifle to introduce new shooters to the sport for years now. With the suppressor mounted, no recoil, and almost no noise it has made them love shooting. Almost everone who has shot this loves it and several didn't want to shoot any other guns than this one because they hit everyt...

Re: Titewad
Build some 5rd ladder loads going up .2gr each. Look at the primers for pressure signs, extraction difficulty, and your velocities for erratic spikes.
Looking at the 170gr 30-30 data you may need 1gr more to reach 950fps. 4.5 gr would not scare me in the least but work up slowly to be safe.

Re: Titewad
@detcader:
Work up slowly and watch for pressure signs. Titewad can build pressure quickly and must be approached cautiously. If you want a super load look elsewhere.
What velocity are you chasing?
