Re: how far do you drive to your range
30 miles from my door to our private 100/200/300/pistol/shotgun range. All club members have a key to the gate. We are surrounded by sugar cane fields and the west levee for the Atchafalaya Basin.

Re: Keymod Hand Guards
..... Plus all of the keymod slots on the SLR double as QD sling swivel spots. I'll be replacing the over torqued MI handguard with an SLR when I get a chance. I have been trying to find out what brands of keymod rails have the slots that can double as QD sling swivel spots. My KMR doesn't. Can any...

Re: ? for IMR 4227 users...
Over many years of reloading I have come across certain powder/cartidge combinations that required magnum primers because regular primers didn't completely burn all the powder. (I'm getting old and none come to mind at the moment). I saw a few posted 300 BLK loads here and there that used 4227 and m...

? for IMR 4227 users...
Do you use standard rifle primers or magnum rifle primers for your 4227 loads?
Please tell me why. I just came into 8 lbs. of this powder and will be using it for supersonic loads in a 16" barrel. (125 gr. bullets). Thanks.

Re: No more MPW's?
I like the idea of having the brand - AAC - and the caliber - 300 AAC BLK - on both the upper and lower receivers. Maybe AAC can sell just the receivers or do as Colt is doing now and just sell barreled receivers with the BCG and gas system, minus the furniture and other parts. One can only wish/hope.
