Re: Optics

I sited this the other day. The optics are superior to the ol Tasco. I really like the etched reticule. The center cross does not touch. So up on 12x you can see exact center and place bullets with pin point accuracy if you a d the gun are capable. I was on paper and sited in three. Loaded 5 and mov...

Optics

I have still yet to acquire a dedicated scope for my RARR 300. I think its had at least six different optics from Aimpoints to MSR style 1-4/1-6x optics. To common "deer optics like my favorite Leupolds. I re stocked this last year with a re shaped Boyds Spike Camp. I swapped to a 1.5-6 Tasco EURO-C...

Re: dreams of nancy

I just read that this piece of excrement either had her laptop stolen or it was confiscated. And then there was talk of high treason found in documents on it. One could only hope that that's actually true.. I don't normally wish another bad tidings but she's a special case. The good Lord has a place...

Re: Annealing neck tension

As neck tension is THE LARGEST contributor to an accurate load.... About anything one can do to promote continuity of the neck will result in an improvement.

So...

Annealing

Turning necks

SAME mfg

SAME no shots

UNIFORMLY TRIMMED cases

ALL are top performers in producing accurate loads.

Re: Alliant 300MP and Hornady 125 SSTs

I haven't used it for the SST but LOVE LOVE the load worked up under the 135 FTX bullet!! Its clocking 2200+ from my American 16". The load is too hot for the MSR rifles. Shoots sub MOA in my bolt Ruger. I just grabbed two more pounds of the powder last week when I was in a shop. I NEVER see it so t...

Re: Concentricity tool

I have had the RCBS tool for 15-18 years. It works for me. Improvements have been made new models released but the one I have works for me.

Re: Lee 309-230 Mold final verdict?

I wanted to do the same... But chickened out as tge pins that hold the handles on the two cav are supah hard and like to eat the expensive bit!!! So mine just sits and I use other molds. LEEs 155 has become a favorite. 3031 pushes mine at 1500 and they plop into single Holes at 50 and under 2" out a...

Re: Speer reloading data

I load Speer GD 150's with 300MP powder. Shoots well with good velocity. Im no fan of lil Gun. Not in a MSR esp. it burns hot, Heat kills throats a d barrels. Its also a mono to compress it, I have gotten pressure spikes and ignition issues. There are more things to a accurate load then top velociti...

Re: Looking for a better powder measure

Two single stages with two measures each then the 550 has one. A second bench has two stations and one thats changeable. Thats another Dillon with a Di...
