Re: Ruger American Ranch 300BLK - Magazine options?
If someone has the RARR that accepts the pmags, could you please remove the stock and take pictures of the bottom of the action and possibly some measurements of the action screws? I’m willing to modify my action if it’s possible to accept the pmags.

Re: Finally, the perfect (compromise) 300 BLK AR
How did you drill and tap the carrier? I was going to do this same thing but everyone said it’s too hard and would break the tap. Carbide end mill to poke the hole. Just a regular tap, but I wasn't sure if wasn't going to break. Went very slow, backing up frequently. Thanks. I have a milling machin...

Re: Ruger American Ranch 300BLK - Magazine options?
So does anybody know what the difference is between the ranch rifle that accepts pmags and the one that uses a rotary mag? All I have heard is that the bolt is different but I can’t find pictures at all. I’m willing to modify my receiver if it will take the stock that accepts the pmags. I had the r...

Re: Magpul Hunter American stock for the RARR
Apparently mdt has a chassis that will now work with the 300blackout Ruger American, it’s called the LSS-XL GEN 2

Re: Magpul Hunter American stock for the RARR
I am a new poster here and new to 300 Blackout (I have a Ruger Ranch 26968 at the dealer waiting to be picked up and a YHM Resonator with the Form 4 just started a week ago, and a Springfield Armory Saint Pistol in 300 on the waiting list for my dealer.) I'm following this specific to the Magpul St...

Re: Magpul Hunter American stock for the RARR
Well I guess I’ll just have to go with the Boyd’s and a cdi dbm then. I love the magpul on my 700 with the only gripe being that I have to use a flexible cleaning rod bc the cheek weld is to high for a brass one. Other than that it is amazing. Did you ask him about removing material from the trigger...

Re: Magpul Hunter American stock for the RARR
That’s interesting. I wonder what changed his mind. I also had to deal with that dilemma. My 700 is left hand but magpul doesn’t sale left hand stocks so I took a long thin carbide burr and followed the grooves for the bolt and safety and made my stock a left hand. I put it in the mill to finish it ...

Re: Magpul Hunter American stock for the RARR
That sounds like the case here. If one had a mag they didn’t care to trash then I’m sure removing material would solve this issue. I’ve noticed with RARR I just bought that the mag sits a little lower than i would like. EDIT. What about removing material from the posts on the bottom metal that could...
