I have been wondering if a round nose would be a better choice over the spitzer type bullets.
Still no expansion at sub vel, but a flatter front surface for more tissue disruption.
Or how about a .30-30 flat point?

There are other factors than burn rate.
Density of powder. A given powder may work based on burn rate, but be so fluffy you cannot get enough in a 300 BLK case to work.

I have had very good luck with Midsouth.
As for the powder, it is not like a given powder comes into stock on a regular basis. I have not seen WW231 available for over a year.

Anderson Manufacturing can take a LONG time to ship. I ordered a complete upper on Sunday, and it took all the way until Monday afternoon to ship. Including headspacing a bolt and test firing it.
