Re: 9mm heavyweight subsonics
I have only had the opportunity to put about 300 rounds through my ar pistol in 9mm. Noticed that all my brass was severely charred, from min data all the way to max. Is this normal to have a generous chamber in the 9milli ar's?

Re: Load help and question
Your going to have some pretty inconsistent burns rinning 4198 at such low capacity. I would either wait for a more appropriate powder or up your bullet weight to the 220+ range. Feel free to prove me wrong though, i am interested to see your results if you move forward, but my guess would be a high...

Re: STICKY - Good/Bad brass list converting 5.56->300blk
I have only had problems with the shoulder on these "bad" brass headstamps. My quick solution was just grinding the shellholder downs 1/32 and now haven't had issues. If your stuck with a bunch of brass that won't chamber you could buy a .307 sizing die for your bullets and deal with the s...

Re: Why pick the 300 Blackout?
I also run an unsupressed 300 ar. I use subs a good bit, not for the sound difference, but when I cast my own bullets and use PC, I like to be able to reliably cycle the gun while keeping it at a slow enough speed that I don't need to worry about leading or gas-checking. plus, a 230gr bullet uses a ...

Re: Bullet Review
I am headed out to the range right now. I have 100 more loaded up. No gel testing, but hoping to blow some pumpkins up and lots of oranges. Also going to do some scoped testing and I also have the chrono and some hot loaded ones. I'll let you know how they do.

Re: Testing loaded rounds
I bought the lee 300b.o. dies and all of my rounds were getting stuck on the shoulder. Had to grind .010 off the shellholder to get the shoulder down where it was supposed to be.

Re: Bullet Review
I assume these would fragment pretty violently, would probably need a gel test. which I can do, but it's not on the list this month. but I will try to get around to it and let everyone know if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Bullet Review
Hey guys, I have ben playing with the Lapua 100gr cutting-edge lets for about a month now. I realy like them, they are accurate and flat shooting. I couldn't find any data for a 100gr, so I started at 18gr and kept going until I started seeing pressure signs. I found my max load is around 20.8gr, I ...
