Re: Diamondback DB15 or S&W M&P15?
If you are going to run it with a suppressor I would go with something with a shorter barrel. Either a pistol, or if you want to go through the hassle of a second stamp, a short barrel rifle. A 16" barrel with a suppressor is just too long and unwieldy. Opinions will vary of course, but that is...

Re: Pistol Build
I recently built one and put this brace on it https://www.midwayusa.com/product/102082714
I like it a lot. Way better than the early braces that were hard to sholder, and not adjustable.

Any 300 Blackout load will go through a car door like a hot knife through butter. Car doors won't even stop .22 rounds.

Re: Why 1050FPS?
I load mine to 1000 fps or even a little slower. I live in Wyoming, it gets cold here. Much of the winter 1050 fps will be supersonic.

Re: Hodgdon CFEBLK Powder
I'm excited to give this powder a try once it's available. I use CFE Pistol on the four different handgun cartridges I load. I got it to work up some 9mm loads a couple years ago, and really liked the results. Ended up working up loads for the other handguns and like it for all of them. It's clean b...

Your shot worked out for you, but that is not a method I would promote for a head shot. It just as easily could have been a removal of her lower jaw. I have taken plenty of head shots with them looking straight at me, and I think it's a good shot to take. If you hit low, yes it will take out it's l...

I have an older Savage model 10, and love it. I like what I see in this one however, might have to upgrade.

Re: Reloading question- cost
You only need to count your time if the time you spend reloading is taking away from time that otherwise would have been spent earning money. If it only takes time away from sitting on the couch watching TV, your time cost is zero.FOB wrote:It is still a false economy if you don't count your time investment.
