Re: Feasible?
Thanks for all of your replies. I was asking because I do want to load for 7.62x39 as well (I have the dies) so I figured I could use what I didn't re-size for that.

Re: Remington 700 recall
Here is the link to the recall information on Remingtons site. You can punch in your rifles SN and it will tell you if it is part of the recall. http://xmprecall.remington.com I am going to check mine at some point, but I haven't had any problems with my trigger and in fact, it is the lightest trigg...

Does it have the forward assist? Can we see a pick of the functional side of the upper receiver?

You mean adjust the center rod leaving the die body in place?Wo0dzm3n wrote:It's the seating die. Back out the die. Run a prepped case up without a bullet in it. Slowly turn in the die till it just touches. Then lock it there. Then after add a bullet and adjust to length.

Re: What is going on with my seating die?
Thanks for all of your suggestions, but I think I need to clarify. This is not a sizing issue. The brass has already been decapped, resized and primed. With the seating die: What I am trying to do is get the COAL to 2.80. Once I thread the piece that holds the bullet up beyond a certain point, inste...

Re: What is going on with my seating die?
It is the seating die doing this not the sizing dies. I was trying to get the COAL to 2.800 but if I adjust it beyond 2.75 ish, then it deforms the neck.
