forgot to report back but ya.....wasn't getting crap through glass. Too much heat reflectivity on the lenses. I'm sure you need something totally special to get zoom on a flir. How in the hell is the ATF all over the place with regards to some of these form 4s. I've heard of a 90 day trust form 4 just a few days ago and then we have reports on the other extreme of people waiting over twice that long. I guess it's just a perfect microcosm of government inefficiency.
