Re: loud / quiet

It is a time dependent function. Sound of 90 Db's is considered safe, which it is for 8 hrs or less per day. 120 Db is safe outside, in an open field, on a warm dry day, for many 20-30 in rapid succession, while the same 120 Db in an enclosed room doing a mag dump will cause some injury to your hear...

Re: Accuracy problems with suppressor

As stated above, this has to be an alignment issue. The buffer is not going to cause this level of change in POI, nor will the gas pressure. Both of these could affect POI but in a precision rifle where your measuring1/16 of an inch. Have you checked the target to see if you are getting a round hole...

Re: Liberty Chaotic Ti or Dead Air Nomad 30, or?

I appreciate and understand why you would write out a pro/con list. I find myself doing that too. And it does look like you answered most of your own questions. And while many of the options of the dead air make it stand out, and to which you said you weren't really interested in the first/last pla...

Re: Specific Suppressor for 300 Blackout?

I would. Taking away the muzzle blast is significant. I have a Liberty Chaotic. That was the only “designed for 300 BLK” can I know of. It takes the muzzle blast off well. It does fine for subsonics also. It was quieter with 300 BLK Supers than my old Brevis, which is another short n fat can that w...

Feeling sick about a deer :(

Sorry for your loss OP. This marks my 50th year of hunting deer, Rifle, Revolver, Bow and have taken around 300 + deer, through hunting and crop damage. I wish I could say that I never lost one but it would be untrue. I know deer anatomy very well, look for where it's going in and out. We all can ma...

Sub sonic 300 BO for deer/bear/boar

Is there a subsonic expanding bullet that any one has used for deer/bear/Boar? I have tried some that if they stayed sub sonic they punched right through, no expansion. If the did expand they went supersonic. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You Be Safe,

Re: Off the shelf blackout pistol advice

I'm looking at purchasing a blackout pistol for home defense and would like some opinions on which brand to buy. I'm looking at JP, Noveske, DD and AAC. Any real advantages to any of those brands? It'll wear a sig brace until the SBR paperwork clears and will be shot suppressed 100% of the time. Th...
