Re: Reloading question- cost

I think it of it this way. I am creating "born again" ammo from "pull bullets" and de-milled brass giving second life. Helping tax payers by buying once fired mil brass - Recycling - supporting gun community people business buying cleaned converted brass at much cheaper cost - Ha...

Re: 200 or 220 for quiet reliable pistol operation

I have used IMR 4198 - A5477 and A1680 on my 8.5 with Specwar sup. I found the using the Amax 208's with H110 and A5477 to be very quite compared the other 2. Also had a lot of Gas coming back from the IMR 4198 and A1680. I believe I used 9g load with H110 with sup and it cycled back with Specwar. V...

Re: reloading 130gr mk319 sost bullets.

TRAIL BOSS with a lightweight jacketed bullet? 6 gr. fills the blackout case. I used 6.0 gr with cast bullets and was not impressed with it as a powder in 300 blk. I got about 900 fps with a 200g cast bullet and 1150 fps with a 130g cast with 6 gr load. M. Yes, with light bullet ..either 125 TNT or...

Re: reloading 130gr mk319 sost bullets.

Thanks Jurrasic J and WFA for the Load test Data. I got both powders to it was very helpful to see this. Loading a dummy Round. It seems close to 2.125 or just a little deeper seating will hit that middle point between the grooves. That sitting might work out best for Semi's with the Ar mag .250 bul...
