Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout
My long awaited and back ordered Ruger Ranch finally arrived and tomorrow i shall take it out and punch some holes in paper and steel. I have a variety of handloads that i made for my four AR's and AR pistol bullet weighs from 115 gr TNT ( I killed a 350# Texas Hog with that round from a AAC Handi R...

Re: Aero M4E1 Upper
I have purchased several upper and lowers from Areo, the product is outstanding quality (they make parts for Boeing). I am in the process of building another rifle using Ceracoated upper and lower and a 16" Areo barrel. The last few lowers had a forging mark left without being ground smooth, on...

Re: midway acting wonky?
Order from Brownells and if BO they charge when shipping and do not charge anything to send other than original order shipping. Midway will not include sale items for their discounts (Brownell does) and if a BO item is shipped they charge at least minimum fee and send it the stupid UPS/USPS way...ad...

Re: Boycotting Dick's Sporting Goods
We have a Dick's that opened a year or so ago, finally went in last month, lots of help but no customers. Checked for powder etc "we don't have that" few rifles on rack, no one behind counter, very little ammo, all rifle caliber and expensive.......sure made me want to return.

Re: Building my first AR in 300 BLK
Both of my 16" 300's are carbine gas and since I shoot only supersonic I have never experienced a failure of any kind. One of my barrels is from Rainier and the lighter one is a CMMG, both are accurate beyond my ability. I also have an AAC Handi Rifle that is death on Texas hogs.

Re: What is your favorite 300 Blackout cartridge configurati
TNT bullets were mentioned as good for hunting, I just took a 350# Texas Boar with one shot from my Handi rifle (115 gr TNT, 17 gr H110) he ran sixty yards and was dead. I have not fired this load in my AR but wondered about the comment it is not good for shooting in them?

A Hog to remember
Wahoo! Last night my AAC Handi Rifle with 125 gr TNT (17 gr H110) took out a 350 pound Boar in East Texas. One shot (that's all I had) he ran about fifty yards and expired. Love the 300 Blackout!

Re: Advantages of 300blk in 16"
Both of my 16" AR's handle 125 gr TNT like it was made for it, at 100 it is dead on and will put a hog down without any problem. Yesterday I took six small hogs with my AAC Handi Rifle and some 147 gr pulled bullets that were in the ammo box, they make shooting economical as well as fun. I have...

Re: CMMG Barrels
I built a carbine using their 1/7 16" barrel strictly for supersonic use. The rifle turned out to be a really fun shooter, light (barrel weighs 1.8#) and just as accurate as my Rainier 1/8.5 barrel. Mine has the WASP treatment.

Re: AR - pistol vs rifle
I hate to break away from the silliness but I built my blackout for supersonic shooting particularly Texas hogs and Washington State dirt clods. I used a Wilson light weight barrel and the rifle is 100 yd accurate and a bunch of fun to shoot. Could it be used for home defense? Sure but I would rathe...
