Re: YHM Phantom LT added length ?
AND the overall length is LONGER because there is a rim on the QD mount. The 1/4" QD mount rim is outside not inside the suppressor so it is additive. Mine measures just about 7 7/8" installed from the bottom of the barrel threads. AKA "real world" length. I also noticed that th...

Re: YHM Phantom LT added length ?
I can measure mine tonight for you if there are any lingering doubts.
I have an 8" barrel under a 13" handguard and the suppressor sticks out about 2.5 inches. The whole setup (barrel and suppressor) is shorter now than when I had a 16" barrel (barrel+flash hider, no suppressor) on it.

Re: Loading Leatherhead Bullets.
They are coated cast lead. They mention needing to expand the neck to avoid the shaving issue. From what I've read, people mention using the 220 grain SMK as a starting point as far as load data goes.

Re: AR upgrades
A decent trigger really helped me out. I have an ALG which was $70 I think and a giessele which was $200 and they both are good.
Edit- I didn't look at your specs to see if that gun already has a good trigger. It might already have one.

Interested to see your results on FOG and Detroit ammo co. Those are the two that I would be most likely to buy before the rest of the ones you tested.

Re: Some build questions
If I was taking a shot on a game animal out to 150 yards, I'd want a 6 power at least. I have a 12x scope I use for that sort of distance. I just want to be able to put the shot where I want it. a 1-4 could work, just not for me.

Re: Subsonic beltfed
Pretty cool gun, but I'm not sure how happy it would make me if I saw LE with it. Military I can understand, but not LE. Unless of course I could have one too.sharky47 wrote:http://www.breachbangclear.com/300-blk- ... -want-one/
