Re: Rail length vs barrel length with Sig SRD762ti-QD?
When I say put in the work; it's a PDW so it's not the easiest gun to sit down and benchrest. I did it once or twice to verify accuracy and I am good to go. The gun has a geissele trigger which helps. My barrel twist is 1:6. You may get better accuracy out of the 1:7 5R but I dont know. The new Hone...

Re: Rail length vs barrel length with Sig SRD762ti-QD?
I know the thunderbeast somewhat as a shop that I frequent loves them and I am in the back with the gunsmith often and have played around with them a good bit. I have heard they are awesome cans, especially in a precision application. If I were to make a guess I would think the sig is far more durab...

Re: Rail length vs barrel length with Sig SRD762ti-QD?
1. Can we see more pics please? 2. How quit is the sig with your blackout carbines? What barrel lengths are they? What type of pictures would you like to see? I am running the SIG primarily on a 7.5" PDW. In 762 I own an Omega and SDN6. For the weight it is hands down the best 30 cal can I hav...

Re: Sig Sauer Double Port Muzzle Brake for QD Silencers
Their website shows zero products under muzzle brakes now. I took some screen shots on my phone. I do not like their webstore. I placed my order over the phone to double check that I was ordering the ones I wanted. Description and part# Taper-Lok Double Port Muzzle Brake - 5/8 x 24 TPI 7.62 X 39 SR...

Re: Rail length vs barrel length with Sig SRD762ti-QD?
Sorry, I really dont care at all about the wrench flats. It should be rockset on, why would you want to remove your muzzle device and if you do most modern rails come off in seconds so just pull the rail and work on the muzzle device. Unless you buying an incredible slim rail (under 1.25) you're goo...

Re: Rail length vs barrel length with Sig SRD762ti-QD?
Its exactly a half inch. So if you have a 7.5" barrel you will need exactly a 7" rail - with this config you have a about an 1/8 inch between can and rail. Please explain how a 5/8-24 thread is 1/2" in length. Unless I am totally missing something, the questions was what's the...

Re: just built an AR 300blk with a 9inch barrel need help
I agree with smustian that you should do some thorough breakin before going to the gas port work. But GSO is correct that 0.076 is a bit small for subs. My 9" AAC that runs all 4 ways is at .100. I think if you want it to run all 4 ways you are going to need to open up the gas port. I would be ...
