I'm wanting to build an upper. Nothing fancy. 11-12" barrel. Not a high dollar build, by any means. Would like some recommendations on what to use and where to buy the parts. I'm a decent basic smith and mechanically inclined, but have never built an upper. Thanks.

You can use .312 in a .308 bore. Start low and work up, as your pressure will be higher.

I've had great results with the vinegar solutions. Others with the lemishine / citric acid.
Let them dry and drop them in your tumbler for 15-30 minutes.

A bullet I can burn up some Lil Gun with. Wonder how far away I will need to be to insure that I don't burn the hide on a buck.
