if you look at my video you can see the very tip of the blue flame is in contact w/ the case
it spends about 8 seconds in the flame & I get a nice factory looking discoloration on the shoulder/mouth

I had a similar issue w/ some .30 carbine brass that I had to spray a heavy coating of Dillon lube on, finished sizing them, got called away then forgot about them ......... for a month or two could not get the lube off w/ Dawn, sprayed them down good w/ Zep citrus degreaser, let them soak 1/2 hour,...

put a drop of sprue plate lube on a q-tip,
put a ultra thin coat of it on each pin, careful not too much
keep the pins hot, (even if you have to use a torch to get them up to heat)
