Re: Really light load or new rifle?

The perfect excuse for a new rifle, twelve years in the making, and you're trying to avoid it? What's wrong with you?

Re: Micro 7 ejection/extraction issues

I have two model 7’s and one will do that if I work the action too slow. It’s also the one that I had the bolt face trued. The case is so short that it can fall off before it gets to the ejection port if the ejector does not have the power to hold it against the wall of the action. If you are worki...

Re: Barnes 110 vs Lehigh 115

Bumping to see if there are any updates from the 2018-2019 hunting season with the TAC-TX vs. the CCCu?? I updated from the TAC-TX to the Speer 150 Gold Dot. dellet said: If you want a bullet to exit the other side, maximum expansion/energy dump, probably isn't what you are looking for. V...

So it seems like the case is hitting the shoulder when chambering.
Yes. The shoulder is what stops the forward motion of the case. Measure a fired case. I'd wager it's longer than 1.068". No need to set your die down further.

Re: CVA pistols

Bang, what do you think of the buffer tube adapter and brace setup? Does the 3D printed adapter seem robust? I see that the adapter is available with and without finger grooves - how does the grip feel without them. I was consider getting the one without grooves and slipping a Hogue handgun sleeve ...

Re: Reading Wind

Well, I just suck. Blew it today at the groundhog shoot. Worst score I've had in 3 years of competing. Don't listen to my advice except how to lose with grace  Details, man, details. Not necessarily what went wrong personally unless you want to share. I enjoy reading about the shoot in genera...

Re: 300 AAC BLACKOUT questions

If you are looking for a supersonic only proposition for deer and hog in an AR, you may want to give a look at the 300 HAM'R. It won't work well suppressed, and the inventor, Bill Wilson doesn't claim that it will.... I don't understand this. Why in the world would the HAM'R not work well suppressed?

Re: barnes vor-tx 300 blackout ammo

Is there anything better out there? I will be reloading in the very near future, but for now will be buying factory ammo. Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it isn't a good choice. The bullets perform very well. However I've found the accuracy less than stellar in several barrels. So my opinion is se...

Re: barnes vor-tx 300 blackout ammo

Not a whole lot of difference. If that were my choice, I'd try a box of each and go with whichever one shot best in my rifle.
