Re: Am I going to regret selling my AAC upper?

As a rule, I don't sell guns. I've regretted it enough times already. Can you swap the handguard out yourself on the AAC upper? That's kind of where this all started. I was only able to find one or two replacement keymod/mlok (I would prefer mlok) hand guards that would work at the 8" length o...

Hackathorn: 300BLK Fades, Joins 6.8

From Ken Hackathorn's recent newsletter predicting trends for the future of firearms: "I predict that the 300 Blackout will continue to fade in popularity and soon join the 6.8." Link to newsletter: http://eepurl.com/bTTrzP I'm not an industry insider, but my anecdotal observation is that ...

Re: 7.62 Discussion

My experience here.

The Specwar 762 is built like a brickhouse. Having had it almost a year now, the only other I would consider at this point would be an Omega.

Re: 208gr Hornady A-Max A1680 with 8" Barrel Chrono results

So your only seeing the problem when shooting suppressed right? If so it could be a thread problem. Either on the suppressor or barrel. You also said you have bullet shavings in the suppressor after firing right. Makes me really think your getting baffle strikes just enough to shave the bullet and ...

Re: do you full length resize after every firing?

There is no reason to neck size, except maybe for literal bench rest competition. The downside is reduced reliability, and having ammo sitting around that is not compatible with other guns. Even some of the top LR BR/F-class guys are FL sizing every firing now days. This is because you have to inde...
