Re: New to Blackout

Been shooting and reloading for 35 years, but have never shot or reloaded for the 300 Blackout. I got a great deal on a stripped lower, and was tired of building 5.56 rifles and pistols, so I found another really great deal at CDNN on a 300 build kit. Just got it done today. I loaded up 100 rounds ...

Re: Getting can to range and back

No offense ment but I had to grin a bit when I read this. I remember those days. Kind of like the first scratch on a new car you have saved for.

At any rate, I keep mine in a working man's sock. Different colors for different cans.

Re: I captured a bullet

Gotta love the internet adds. Between posts are adds for trash cans  If you are using reformed brass might need to check some of the older threads about good brass bad brass. My reloading gear is packed up for a moved but seems like I remember some folks having trouble forming brass with Lee st...

Re: Ultra short barrel review

Might find this useful. http://www.elcaudio.com/tablesforweb.pdf I use to have a reference to a sound meter like manufacturers are trying to get used for apples-to-apples comparison and the distance in front of and to the side for db measurements. The cheap db instruments and cell phone apps are pre...

Re: Interpol to FBI to local LE- to our son (big brother is watching)

Wow. So this is what is replacing Chess or Checkers at the local barber shop, then having a cold one after the game. I have an original Mario Brothers with duck hunt from my younger days, but otherwise it is board games or cards. Rook, hearts, little poker every now and then. At least you know who y...

Interpol to FBI to local LE- to our son (big brother is watching)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this. Our 28 y.o. son is really into online gaming. Some I don't like due to the violent nature but he is living in his on place, has a job, etc. Last night local PD called and said they were looking for him. They had gotten word by way of Interpol and the...

Re: GASSING questions.

Thanks for the reply. Regarding the buffer weights. Not long ago on one of my .223 ARs, I added an extra ounce to the buffer weights. Took out one of the 1 ouncers out and replaced it with a 2. I did so in an effort to soften the recoil a bit and figured that it would slow the action down on the BC...

Turkey hunter shooting a Tom while getting some

I was watching the Sportsman channel today. Poor old Tom didn't even have time to orgasm unless he was real fast. I think I would have at least let him finish with a smile on his beak before blasting him.

I keep straining to see if I can figure out the reflection in his sunglasses. I need an FBI link to do that.

I'm an NRA member and make contributions from time to time to their PAC, especially if they offer a free gift  . I have a drawer full of NRA pocket knives.
