Finally got my M&P15 300 Whisper
After a couple years of day dreaming and a year of that on Lay-a-way I'm finally the owner of a M&P15 300 Whisper with the camouflage finish. Its primary purpose and justification for purchase was deer hunting with home defense being a bonus. This is just my second AR15 ever with the first one b...

Re: Whisper or Blackout for deer hunting.
For the time being I will be limited to factory ammo but I plan to roll my own in the near future. I was considering the Hornady or Barnes in 110gr. I notice Blackout seems more popular over the Whisper. Would I be wrong in using the Hornady 110gr for deer under 100 yds? Thank you for all the feedba...

Whisper or Blackout for deer hunting.
Hello everyone, I'm new to the sight and I just purchased my first AR rifle ever. I bought the Smith and Wesson 300 Whisper for the primary purpose of hunting deer here in Michigan.
