I had the same problem with the Wolf Magnum Rifle Primers in two different lowers. Try some other primer with the same lowers and see if anything changes (I even tried some small pistol primers, which worked fine for me.) Had the same issue with a new CMMG upper and Wolf small rifle magnum primers - many light strikes. Went to the Wolff heavy hammer spring and solved the problem.
