Re: Direct Thread Suppressor PSA

Call me skeptical but just to clarify; You are saying if you smear anti-seize on the barrel threads and then hand tight the sound suppressor, it won't back off while shooting? Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. The thick viscosity of the Nickel anti-seize keeps the suppressor nice and tight all ...

Re: Stuck baffles! Help!

For future reference using the freezer method... you need to run the hot water over the outside of the tube and not the baffles. The SiCo website says that the Octane 9 is made out of Aluminum (AL) and Stainless Steel (SS). It also says that the baffles are S; so I will assume that the tube is AL. S...

Re: Glock ftf

My guess would be a faulty RSA. Call Glock customer service and/or get a new one. Thanks for the reply! I just looked that up and didn't even know there was a free exchange for faulty RSA. Edit: Well I called and mine already has the updated RSA. So back to the unknown. Dang. That sure sounds like ...

Re: 4 Reasons 300 Blackout Is a Terrible Choice for Home Defense

I'll take a 9-inch barreled 300BLK AR loaded with Barnes VOR-TX over just about anything when it comes to HD. My second choice would be a G19 loaded with Federal HSTs, which is on or around me all day. My four reasons the 9-inch 300BLK rifle with supersonics is a great choice for HD: (1) Handling/Ma...

Re: Is AAC no longer making the 9" upper?

I saw the 9-inch upper in one of my local stores. The price was somewhere between $800-900. You might be able to call them to see if it is still in stock, if they will ship it, and how much it would cost.

Re: Gun Trust Lawyers?

I also got my Trust through Arsenal Attorneys. They are based out of Fairfax, VA. It will cost some more money than your average 123Trust style services, but I like being able to call up my lawyer for advice and follow-on services.

Re: Anyone following the Fireclean debacle?

My take on FIREClean... IT'S VEGETABLE OIL?! No fecal matter! It is advertised as a non-toxic, "green" firearm lubricant, so it will need to come from plants or animals. Since most fats/oils from animals will have a low smoke temperature, that means the best suitable oil will be plant base...

Re: How's your trust?

I always get various feedback on my trust since it does not utilize schedules. It uses individual assignment sheets to assign property to the trust. The property is separated into "non-NFA items" and "NFA items". All my ammunition and shared guns (shared with Trustees) are assign...
