I have not tried this finish yet, just fixing up an order, but understand it is hard as woodpecker lips, Cerakote now makes an air dry, no bake, finish. Brownell's sells it in various colors including Graphite Black.

Re: is there any rounds that should not be fired thru your c
Exactly what did that 308 bullet do to your 223/5.56 can? I am curious because I have a similar setup to your attachment setup.
I would also think shooting cast through a can that can not be disassembled would not be a good idea due to the lube blow off.

Re: Used silencers
Well, now the guys from NW FL come out of the wood work. I was looking for a 35 can myself. Just a day late.

Re: Best/most affordable silencer
Like RFA, I have a QC can that uses the flash suppressor as the fixture mount, the fixture replaces the crush washer. My can is a Torch by Liberty. I bought it for my 6.5 Grendel and the 223. Hunting hogs, yotes and armadildos is legal at night with a gun, suppressor and a laser or light in FL. The ...

Another NFA Form After Having One Approved
A question for the guys that might have done this, is there any difference, time wise, in getting a second or third NFA item's paperwork approved after you have one already approved? My NFA item is in the name of a Corporation, allowing any officer in the corporation to have possession, plus the ite...

Re: Desperately seeking subsonic cycling - new guy.
When you were working with the 223 sub rounds did you notice that timing is everything with the AR? If the 1680 works and #7 works then the powders between, on the burn rate scale, might well work (I know 2015 BR will work, I use it in my 6.5 Grendel loads). But if 4227 will not work then 1680 is th...

Re: Shaw barrels
Old post but the data on the Shaw barrels is still valid. All of my uppers shoot sub 1/2 inch at 100, I own several, including 223s, 6.5, 6.8 and a 300. But if you just want to know about the barrels in general, I built a sporter Argentine Mauser 98, 7mm Rem Mag using a Shaw for a friend that helped...

Re: Model 1 300 BLK site
Some how I lost my registration and had to start again so do not let the one post throw you. I have several Model 1 uppers from a 223 to a 300, including a 6.5 and a 6.8 None of my uppers will not shoot 1/2 inch at 100. I also own 7 custom rifles with Shaw barrels and all shoot exceedingly well. I e...
