Scope Recticle

Now that Leupold has stopped selling any scopes with their 300 Blackout recticle (not that anyone could afford one anyway), I was wondering if anyone has tried using a crossbow scope with a rifle chambered in 300 blackout? The idea came to me this AM when I got an email from Ten Point crossbows and ...

Re: Innovative New 300 Blackout Ammunition From Sig Sauer

I wonder how much licensing fees Sig had to pay Remington to use Silvers' patented bullet design?

Re: Overgassed

This is where Quick Load shines as one of the data outputs is muzzle pressure in PSI. For example, I was playing around see what loads I could try based on which powders I had on hand for a 10" Contender using 208 gr. Amax bullets: 8 gr. H110 - MV 934 - 60.4% fill - 83.57% burn - 3243 psi muzzl...

Re: ECCO Trigger

I received my Echo trigger the later half of January and the BFS III a week or so later. I've shot probably 60 rounds of 5.56mm, 300 9mm, and 100 subsonic 300 Blackout. I know what you're saying about a gimmick, but my reasoning for getting the Echo was that I'd rather pay $479 for a trigger than $2...

Re: ECCO Trigger

I have one of each, the Franklin BFS III and the Fostech Echo. I use the Echo in my AR SBR and the BFS III in my Sig MPX. Both operate as advertised and are totally different designs, each has it's own set of quirks. Right now I like the Echo better. The BFS III will work in any platform that can ac...

Re: Wisconsin election Board agrees to Presidential recount.

This is such bull shit! Wisconsin has PAPER ballots which are fed into a machine that is plugged into a wall outlet for power. There is NO internet access to the machines. I also find it interesting the Jill can come up with the 6 Million she needs to do a recount, but could only raise 3-1/2 Million...

Re: Anyone Pressure Can Items/Food?

PM me with your email address and I'll send you my instructions to can meat in mason jars. Over the years I've canned deer, moose, caribou, antelope, bear, even pork! Stored in a cool dry place out of the sun (in the basement), it's shelf stable for....hell, I don't know how long. I recently ate a j...
