Re: Remember that Cop in Ohio who threatened to shoot a . .

Looked to me that he was really pissed that he and his partner totally dropped the ball by not securing the scene and were in the car looking for something besides a gun at the moment. Lucky this guy was a law abiding citizen and did not flee or just start busting caps out of fear. The driver put hi...

Re: Any updates on Remington 300blk Ammo Production?

The 1.361 is about where the RCBS trimmer is set to, I bought a trimmer from Little Crow Gunworks which goes into a cordless drill and it cuts 1.368 +/- .001 and the factory Hornady is 1.360 +/- .001 close to the range 300 Blk indicated they shoud shoot for. The drill trimmer does a piece of brass i...

Re: Any updates on Remington 300blk Ammo Production?

Sure is a problem, have been spending $34 bucks for Hornady 300 brass and just glad to get it. I am in the process of running my first 200 brass formed from .223 WW and WCC emptys. I am trimming to 1.368 +/- .001. Is this acceptable for all loads as I am getting ready to use Sierra 220 grain Match K...

Re: Any updates on Remington 300blk Ammo Production?

Finding the available components is still a matter of its own. I just scored 500 220 grain bullets and paid $216 for them, by the time I work up the load with powder, primer and brass it still runs me around .76 cents per round or $375 per 500 round batch. Last fall I purchased from a well known dis...

Re: Doing My Very First Reload w/ Sierra 125gr OTM-Advise Pl

Yor are locked on, get all the books from Speer, Nosler, Hodgdon and let them be your bible. A chronograph will help you get an idea of the chamber pressure you are working up to. Hodgdon shows a max load of Lil Gun 18.0 @ 2185 fps with 40.800 CUP and when you get close to a max load use small incre...

Re: Any updates on Remington 300blk Ammo Production?

Here is a new and upcoming source of 300 BO ammo hopefully to be available soon. Take a look as they are going to spool up for the manufacture and you can get your name in the hat to hold your place in line to purchase some. Prices are not the $11.96 for Remington 115 grainers found last year and th...

Re: charging handle latch

busted my charging handle latch (don't ask!) who has the best deals on the best latches? any tips or links would be great! Dillon Press, Brownells, MidwayUSA all sell good ones. I like the one from Badger Ordinance which is a tactical and works well for charging the weapon from the left side with l...
