Nice work! Saw this over on /r/guns. Loving the PWS cap! Did you buy something PWS or just get the hat at a competition?

Re: Is SIG going to build a P-516 in 300 Blackout?
Including Sig Ammo I believe (but it could end up being like Gemtech ammo and not happen). The 556xi is exciting in that its super easy to switch between calibers. Barrel swaps take no time at all.300Blk wrote:Sig had a wide range of 300 BLK products in their 2014 Shot Show catalog.

Re: Is SIG going to build a P-516 in 300 Blackout?
The only pistons I've seen that worked ok on 300 Blackout were placed in the pistol gas location and had a seperate setting for subs, subs w/ a can, supers, and supers w/ a can. You're stuck with a short rail and more stuff to go wrong. *sigh* Again, PWS (Primary Weapons Systems) makes a long-strok...

I didn't build it, Primary Weapons Systems did, http://www.primaryweapons.com, I've done a full review on here http://300blktalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=84231cboger wrote: pics and build details?

Re: Sig Sauer P-516 with wrist brace w300 Blackout upper ins
My PWS begs to differ, has run reliably for almost a year. Long-Stroke gas piston.20X11 wrote:jettcity1 wrote:Has anybody here put a 300 Blackout upper on this "pistol"?
questions:
3) DI ... gas piston does not work for 300BLK (not reliably anyway)

You got me curious! Never heard of them, but those are good prices if the ammo is new manufacture.

Re: Interested, But Where's the Ammo?
It will be coming. I have been saying that for a long time, so from an outside observer perspective, I know it is hard to believe. But there is a flurry of activity with making more ammo and new types of ammo. The long term prospect is good. I know you're being honest here, but it's frustrating to ...

PWS Mk116 mod 1 300 blackout range report/review and videos!
I thought I'd post my PWS Mk116 Mod 1 300 Blackout range report and review. Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) make a long-strike piston driven AR-15. It comes in ~6lbs 7oz. So not terribly heavy. I put ~500 rounds through it this weekend including 110 grain v-max, 155 grain match, and 220 grain subsonic...

Re: 350 gr Tungsten .308 bullet
.308 is relatively (relative to .30-06) poor with 220gr bullets. 300 blackout does great because we love the subsonic nature of those. But this, at 350gr its got to be very very very very limited in range, especially out of a 300 blackout case, I mean I don't even think it could stabilize. I'm not e...

Can I just leave my lower fully assembled if I send it to them? I'm lazy...rjacobs wrote:Form 1. Send it off for engraving(I recommend Ident Markings). You can continue to use the lower until your stamp comes back. Once your stamp comes back get your short upper.
