Re: 78gn LeHigh Close Quarter Bullet
Hmm I wonder if I could get away with it in my 6" 7 twist. It will be ran with a can 100% of time so it coming apart would not be good.

Re: New Hornady Bullets
Yep pretty damn stupid or as we've often seen the tech people dont know shit. Im plenty happy with my SSTs so I wont be trying any. I will be getting some 125s for my 16" 308 though.

Re: New Hornady Bullets
I asked hornady about the 110 gmx expansion threshold as it looks tailor made for 300blk but the 2000fps seemed a bit high. They said the 110 has a 2000fps threshold as well. Doesn't make much sense to make a 125 for 308 then a 110 with a 300blk ogive profile but essentially make it useless for that...

I use sionics NP3 BCGs. They're priced fair and the coating is great.
I had an AAC upper, the BCG was nib coated and was not nearly as easy to clean as np3 and tin. If it works for you great, but at a cheaper price and easier cleaning the sionics np3 BCG works for me.

Re: Extreme Blackout, What are the limits and how do we explore them safely.
A buddy of mine shot his 700 300blk to 1000 with 125 BTs with mixed results. While it can reach on out there its long flight time gets the pants knocked off of it with any wind at all. On a calm day its fun to send them way on out there but with any wind it just become pure luck. Youre better off s...

Re: Shooting Suppressed...where does the filth come from?
The excess carbon doesn't come from the gas tube. Most of the gas from the gas tube shoots right out the side of the bolt. The grunge comes from all the carbon filled smoke that goes right into the action while the spent case is being extracted. Lubes make very little difference in how much accumula...
