Re: the Covid got me
I thought about commenting on a few posts, but decided, especially after returning to the community after a lengthy absence, to just tell several stories. First, for those who may or may not remember me, I was quite active here in the mid-2010's during the height of the 6.8 SPC vs 300 BLK wars. (I t...

Re: Eform 1 denial
You may be correct. However I won't say any of it is even remotely "clear". Especially since I have sent multiple emails to a new dedicated form1 silencer specific ATF email address. With the responses to be completely lacking in anything even close to an answer to my questions or an expl...

Re: Eform 1 denial
It seems a bit more clear (at least to me) now that ATF final rule 2021R-05F, Definition of “Frame or Receiver” and Identification of Firearms has been published on 11 April 2022. Reading through it (no small task....okay, maybe skimming instead of reading), it appears that the intent is for the par...

Re: Any recommendations for the big brother .308
..... Palmetto's 308 ARs generally need a large amount of buyer modifications and part replacing to get to properly function with any ammo despite Palmetto's glowing claims. Granted it's a small sample size, but my experience is the opposite. I picked up two lowers and two uppers to outfit with dem...

Re: Who are the busy supressor repair shops?
BJK is spot on. Go straight to the manufacturer if you need repair. It may even be covered under warranty. The best ones won't have many in shop for repair because silencer don't break unless the operator does something wrong or has a host firearm (non-concentric threads, etc) issue. Just like the m...

Re: Need to learn some more about NFA trusts
I'll go ahead and bite as well, with several disclaimers: 1 - The whole, "I'm not a lawyer, your lawyer, didn't sleep at Holiday Inn" thing 2 - I haven't been active on this forum for a couple of years and just signed by in earlier this morning...so peripheral knowledge of recent posts is ...

Re: Help needed building my 300 blackout
Buy a high quality complete upper and build a lower with a good trigger. Wa la 1800 and it's guaranteed to run. 200 to build a ar is crazy. My guy charges me 30 bucks and it's done while I'm eating lunch. They always end up costing just as much as it would to just call up Wilson combat and have the...

I don't understand what (T) and (O) stand for . The correct goals are : 100 yards 3.0 MOA ( about 3 inches )(T) and 2.0 MOA ( about 2 inches )(O) . 300 yards 5.0 MOA ( about 15 inches )(T) and 3.0 MOA ( about 9 inches )(O) . Chris Threshold (T) - minimum acceptable to declare success Objective (O) ...

Re: I'm cursed with Class 3 dealers
I'd also find another dealer for future purchases. There is an unfortunate amount of ignorance out there, even among dealers and others who should know better or be smart enough to actually read the statutes and rules before spouting their "wisdom." I'm also a "Powered By" Dealer...
