Re: SPS 700 300blk in a MDT tac21 chassis(requested pics)
The only rounds that I sometime get a hang up with in the AICS mags is the really short 125gr soft points I load. The 125gr Nosler ballistic tips and 208gr Hornady Amax I load feed like a champ.

Re: Brass- The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
I'm pretty sure PSD is just a military version of PMC. It's great brass for reloading 223, I haven't tried to convert it to 300BLK yet.neovader wrote:PSD any good?
You do get a flash hole off center here and there, but not too bad and I still use those too and can't tell the difference in my plinking loads.

You can also mix anhydrous lanolin and caster oil (50/50) over heat and then pour into small containers and let it cool before use.
This mix is all I use now for resizing, cartridge converting and swaging. Just a dab will go a long way.

Re: Subsonic load - Bullets stuck in barrel!
Here is a short clip of a squib I had in my 300Blackout bolt action. Two reports, the first being the ignition and the second is the muzzle blast. This wasn't a primer only squib, but a low charge squib. I was working on some 125gr sub loads and the difference between 4.5gr and 4.1gr was a world of ...

Re: Got 1600 foot pounds of energy with 123gr V-max and Lil
Wow! What are you firing these in? Isn't the published Max load with Lil gun around 17.5gr with a standard primer...and you are pushing theses well over that with a magnum primer? I wonder what chamber pressures are peaking at... What kind of accuracy are you getting with these? Interested mind want...

Re: At what point does a muzzle device become a suppressor?
it's the Gobernment! ...I doubt they care how much( if any) the decibels are decreased...it's all in the construction. Any sort of chamber or baffles housed withing a hollow tube( or even a hollow tube with an end cap) will probably be considered a sound suppressor/silencer. compensators only direct...

Re: Scavenging brass.
Usually with 223/5.56 range pickups I'll find split necks before I find loose primer pockets....which is no biggie when converting to 300Blackout as long as you anneal them.

Re: 300 BLK Picture Thread
Not a picture of a gun...but the end result I guess. I was shooting 208gr subs at my steel pistol reaction target. I found this in between the target and firing line. It was preserved so well and it just amazed me how that AMAX petaled out so nicely. http://i71.servimg.com/u/f71/15/84/12/53/dsc00310...

Re: Bolt Gun Load
Try the loads listed in Hodgdons online data. I think it list 9gr max with Lil Gun.

MDT shipped out my AICS mags today, so they should have them in stock now.
