Re: Brass- The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
Went to AL Gun Collectors Show in B'ham today. I was shocked at how much .223 brass was there. The cheapest I saw was LC cleaned and deprimed for $22 per 100. No 300BLK ready ammo at all. 223 ready ammo running $70 per 100. Most shocking was the quantity of ar 15's on the tables and walking around i...

Re: what reloading machine do people recommend?
Glad y'all started this thread. Was about to buy a RCBS Progressive auto 2000...they're giving bullet rebates for purchase. Is the Dillon worth the extra $? I've seen mixed reviews on both. Many said they didn't like the primer tubes with the Dillon and many said they didn't like the primer strips w...

Re: Forming brass from 223/5.56 brass
Reaming planned with a Forster internal reamer. Brass need to be fire formed before reaming. pascalp, If neck reaming is necessary to be able to chamber the rounds, you cannot fire form the case and then ream the necks. Excellent thread...thanks K.Mac. I like you have been assembling the supplies t...

I've got a competition Redding set but at this point, the set you can get is the best set. Midway had 16 Hornady two die sets in on Friday.

Fortunately I have stockpiled 2000 CCI 400's but the question should I save them for my 223 or the 300?

Re: Wind Meters
Maybe i am missing something here but isnt a wind meter more of a gimick and really a useless tool for long range shooting? If you are shooting 1000 plus yards the wind at the gun can vary from the target depending on terrain and other factors. So unless the meter reads wind direction and velocity ...

Re: Wind Meters
Snipers hide had a great system that extended the range of the Kestrel system but it was 900 bucks. Kestrel's 4500NV has a unit without Bluetooth and one with Bluetooth that can download to the phone, iPad, computer, etc but at a limited range of 30 or so feet. Having never used any of these meters,...
