Re: 50 BEOWULF
It's a real thumper and a blast to shoot. Quick to slap on a lower and the cartridges will single stack and feed from a 5.56 magazine. Rebel is spot on about brass price and if you aren't careful when sizing you can rip off the rebated 7.62 rim (voice of experience).

Re: Blue residue all over bolt and bcg on new 300 aac build after shooting
That’s a good question. I had the gun smith at the local shop here put it together. So I’m not sure what they put on. I’ve had them do work for years so I do have confidence they did everything right They might have used too much if that's the source, and 60 rounds could have gotten the barrel exte...

Re: Blue residue all over bolt and bcg on new 300 aac build after shooting
Hi all. I just built an 300aac ar pistol from different quality parts. I shot 60 rounds last weekend and upon cleaning I found blue residue all over the bolt and bcg in general as well as the upper receiver. Anyone know what this is? I should also mention I cleaned everything very well before takin...

Re: yeti cuts ties with NRA - refuses to sell products to the NRA foundation
I have two, both bought with Cabelas points. Won't be getting another, and will try and remove the Yeti logo on the existing coolers, and possibly replace it with an NRA logo if I can locate one suitable. I will never have another Yeti, nor will I fly on Delta, nor rent an Enterprise car, even thou...

I won't convert my Beowulf, but I did put an SSK 510 Whisper barrel on a Savage BA-10 and it's stupid quiet through my AAC Cyclops full .50 BMG can.

Re: Birdshot with ar-15
Again thanks to all with words of encouragement and critical thought. I like the idea of a high pressure straight wall case. I may look into this idea in the future. A few thoughts come to mind already. If and when we get to working on that, I will certainly post. In the mean time, I have some ball...
