Re: yeti cuts ties with NRA - refuses to sell products to the NRA foundation
They might have started things in the "mostly indestructible" (always overpriced) cooler segment, but there's a lot of companies out there making them these days and no one will miss them. Might have some guys needing to scrape decals off their rear windows on the pickup, but I think they'...

Re: 7 years later, it's finally happening = my rifle range project
Thanks guys! I'm just hoping we don't end up with eddies from the wind, but that's part of why I kept it at 60' wide. My forester wanted to go out to 100' so it would get more sunlight, but that's just too much open ground for no good reason. I'll be putting flags out at the 100's anyway. Should be ...

Sounds like a pain in the ass. 20' of elevation is a bitch in 3' of snow.

My place is the left side of the range. The right side is prick line-hunting neighbors.
No need to be jealous either. Drop me a line if you're in the area and you can come use it too.

Re: 7 years later, it's finally happening = my rifle range project
 Funny thing is, I've got 100' of elevation change from East to West on my North 40 and it's not gradual so it's got hills. South 40 feels like walking a pancake even though there's 30' of drop across it. Most parcels in my area have no topography at all, so I'm thankful for the undulations I'v...

Re: 7 years later, it's finally happening = my rifle range project
They finally finished up last week and now I'm just waiting on warmer weather to melt the snow (then dry the ground out) so I can get to work.

Re: Supressor wrap liner
Look at some "hot exhaust" videos and you'll see what 1300F looks like in thin steel. Your can will probably sag and be worth nothing after it spends any time at 1800F.

Re: 7 years later, it's finally happening = my rifle range project
I'm not making money off the stumps. The only people who make money off them is in removals. Or the rare occasion you can turn it into a cool table and find someone willing to buy that. My forester says the chipping crew is behind right now and he doesn't have any idea when they'll be out. We'...
