Re: 300 Wilson Ham’r
Thanks for the updates! I'm looking at getting a 300 Ham'r soon specifically for deer hunting. I briefly looked at the new .350 legend, but like the idea of head spacing on a shoulder better.

Re: Stock Bedding & Oversize Lugs
Usually the aftermarket ones are precision ground to ensure it is perpendicular with the bore, and parallel front/ back. The factory ones are stamped and not parallel/square, so doesn't bed in perfect. I doubt adding tickness adds anything other than a warm fuzzy feeling. The rifle touches your shou...

Remington 783 300bo?
Anybody seen one in the wild yet? I just saw an ad for it last week and thought it looked like it'll be good competition for Ruger.

Re: 20 rnd pmags
PMags are designed to work with the Colt bolt catch. There are other versions that are slightly different than the Colt part. Unfortunately most non-Colt LPKs use the non Colt style bolt catch. Also, unfortunately PMags often don't play well with the non-Colt catch.....ie bolt doesn't lock back when...

Re: 7.62x39 (300BLK based wildcat)
I've got one of exactly what you're talking about. The reamer was designed by a guy on another site and I got my barrel from him. He calls his version ".308r2" and he asked that when ever I talked about it that I would call it by his cartridge name. Another version was built by the same gu...

Re: Going 7.62x40 WT to prevent kboom in 5.56 chamber???
I would look at re-chambering 300blk to a 30hrt instead of the x40 WT if the OP wants to shoot subs and supers if he is really concerned with chambering the wrong ammo and having a KaBoom......needs 6.8 spc mags though. That might be a good thing to help differenciate the ammo even more.

Re: Slow twist Blackout project thoughts?
Sounds like a project for the 7.62x40WT, 30hrt, or a .30cal TCU cartridge if it is a small action you want to play with. I know my 30hrt got 2550 easy out of a 20" barrel AR and 125gr Sierra Pro-Hunter. A little more barrel, QuickLoad, and choosing a good powder should get you quite a bit more....
