Re: Getting away from CFE Black
Built a new rifle. SOLGW w/A5 buffer system H2 9" pistol gas. While breaking it in I notices just how dirty CFE is. It shut the rifle down in 400 rounds or so. That being said. Opinions are N120 is cleanest but I can't find any. N110 won't work with pistol gas. H110 won't work with pistol gas....

Re: 300 blkout 1/5 barrel twist
I've on the Discord 8.6blkout forum. They've been saying the same about the 8.6 but most of them use suppressors. And warn some bullets will destroy the can. I don't have one so I can experiment close range on paper to see if they hold together. Most of them don't shoot Supers. I forgot to include ...

Re: 300 blkout 1/5 barrel twist
I have heard the twist rate is hard on bullets not solid(copper) ? The 8.6blkout has the same issue. Do you load yourself? I have since I first bought the 300 blkout. The spin can be hard on a lot of bullets, even the solids that are designed for rapid expansion or fracturing. The key is to keep ve...

Re: 300 blkout 1/5 barrel twist
I have had one for a few years, do you have specific questions?
Great for subs, some problems with supers, length and velocity are limiting factors.

Re: 100 grain bullets for the 300 BLK
I reload my 7 inch barrel BLK pistol. I use Lil 'gun and H110. Normally 110gr and 125gr. Is there any serious HP/SP 100 grain spitzer made I can reload with? Trying to get 2200 fps or more from this little PWD of mine. Thanks! First question is why do you want the velocity to be 2200 fps? It’s kind...

Re: Great balls of fire
I haven’t used it in my 300BLK loads yet, but Accurate 11FS is the commercial name for WC297. WC297 = W296 + flash suppressant, and so it is slightly slower burning than W296. Edit: Whoops. Didn’t mean to echo Dellet. Load details in the 150 gold dot thread, but this was 200 yards off a bipod and s...

Re: Great balls of fire
You might try Accurate 11FS.
Similar performance as 296/H110, but less flash. The FS stands for Flash suppressant. I noticed a difference.

Re: Bullet Suggestion
The 30 carbine bullet can work, tha half jackets are a real pain to get to feed this. 30 carbine velocities are about equal to a 10” Blackout, so if you’re happy with the results in the 30 carbine, I guess it would be fine. Any of the 110-115 arming bullet would be better. A Quick Look at Grafs, Mid...

Re: Bolt action 300 blk bore guide?
Not aware of cartridge specific guide, but been a while since I looked. In a pinch drill out the primer pocket of a fired case to allow a cleaning rod to pass and call it good.

Re: Semi-auto Subsonic Load Development Without Suppressor
Everything already said applies, but is misleading. It’s based on experience, and what most people find enjoyable. But it’s certainly not the only way to do things. Shooting suppressed subs is clearly fun, but shooting subs without a suppressor has a lot to offer. The skills needed to develop a load...
