WTS: 300 BLK brass, Remington/Barnes stamped, 1500 pieces
I don't reload, so up for sale are once-fired Remington/Barnes high quality brass. These are not 223/556 conversions, but factory brass all stamped "R-P 300 AAC BLACKOUT" and "BARNES 300 BLK" Roughly 1500+ cases. Not deprimed or cleaned, just fresh pick ups after shooting, and no...

Re: Finally figured it out.
An RARR properly equipped with a high-end scope can easily do 1-2moa out to 400-500 yards.

Re: Low mass vs full mass question
Better to have the beefier full auto standard BCG and then play around with buffer weights, if needed.

Re: RARR misfires
You're fine. When you start getting like 4-6 duds per box like I did, then it's time to call Remmy and get them replaced. The shoulders on some batches weren't up to spec. Resulted in too much "shoulder crush" with the cartridge pushed too far in the chamber. Otherwise, these 120gr Barnes ...

Re: Optic for deer hunting at 100 yards?
For such close ranges, forget the variable mags and just get a straight up fixed mag from Leupold. 4x33 or 6x36
Simpler design and use. More rugged/reliable. No adjustments to worry about, just aim and shoot.

Re: Saker 762 diet (cleaning)
I think the whole notion of shooting supersonics through a can to blow out crud is a load of bull. The manufacturers have convinced customers of this to justify selling cans that are not user serviceable. For sealed rifle cans, it's actually true to an extent. There will always be carbon deposits, ...

Re: Ruger American .300blk nightmare
I had about a 30% FTFire issue with a batch of Remington UMC ammo in my new Ruger Ranch this weekend. I'm going to be contacting Remington ASAP. Mind sharing the best contact rout? Just call up their ammo plant in Lonoke, AR https://www.remington.com/contact-us Really pleasant service. Simple descr...

Re: Saker 762 diet (cleaning)
I just shoot factory ammo. Remington 220gr and 120gr UMC. And PMC 223 ammo. I have an AAC 9" SBR, and a Colt 11.5" upper for 556. Actually I shoot closer to 60% subs, 40% supers. Trying to clean with supers now after the heavy buildup has had time to solidify might not work. In the future,...

Re: Saker 762 diet (cleaning)
I've heard people say they shoot supersonic rounds though the suppressor to clean it out. Does that actually work? I shoot 99% subsonic, so I could certainly feed it some supersonics to help clean it. That's a heckuva lot of lead/carbon buildup then. The best way to maintain cleanliness is to shoot...

Re: Possesion of full SBR before approval
So far everyone is replying what I was thinking. My class 3 FFL is a good personal friend. He was under the impression that the ATF looks at a full SBR as a complete thing and is saying separating them is still not OK. I was even thinking I could have the entire rifle while waiting for approval sin...
