Re: DeadAir Keymo/Nomad Ti problem
So I recently got my brand new suppressor out of jail and can’t wait to shoot it. I’m a first timer in this area. It’s a DeadAir Nomad-30 Ti for a 300 SBR. I’ve also got the keymo adapter mount on it as well. I followed all instructions to a T when mating the keymo to the suppressor. However, a sma...

Camera to catch what is happening with bolt?
Camera to catch what is happening with bolt? My Samsung Galaxy S8 will shoot video at 240 frames per second. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to take a short video aimed at the ejection port of a 300blk gun to see what is happening. Even if I watch as slow as I can set the playback I wonder ...

Re: 16” barreled 300blk upper problem.
A little bit of an update. I loosened the fixed gas block and slid it forward to get it out of the way (as I said before the Muzzle Brake isn’t coming off of this easily) it was against the shoulder. I got a JP Enterprises Adjustable Clamp On Gas Block and a new gas tube. I opened up the gas port a ...

If I were to try lowering the weight of the buffer is there a weight I shouldn't go below?

Re: 16” barreled 300blk upper problem.
The 12.5" is probably pistol gas length, most are. Gas tube length can be confusing as there is is about 2" past the barrel into the receiver. A port 7" down the barrel, needs a 9" tube. Most common failures for carbine gas are, gas leaks or poorly aligned block, too much weight...

Re: 16” barreled 300blk upper problem.
Thank you for the replies. I just looked up how to measure the gas tube length. I was assuming that one measured from the middle of the gas block to the end of the tube in the upper receiver. And I now see it is measured from the part of the gas block nearest the receiver to the muzzle thread should...

16” barreled 300blk upper problem.
16” barreled 300blk upper problem. I have a 16” barreled 300blk upper that shoots supersonic factory ammo just fine. But with factory Sub Sonic ammo it will eject the spent brass and the bolt would close but it didn’t strip off the next round to chamber it. It is very consistent. I also tried it wit...

Re: Adjustable Gas Block settings questions.
I stumbled upon this thread when looking for an answer (that I spell out below) and then realized that I had started it. I found that to be funny. The 12.5” barreled other has been working just fine. I bought a second suppressor and it is quitter then the first one. I shot it outdoors for the first ...

Re: Adjustable Gas Block settings questions.
I tried to post this a while ago and it kept asking for me to log in but I was already logged in. It looked like my reply was posted but now it isn’t there. So I am trying again. Well it worked. My results with my setup and Remington ammo. Your mileage will most definitely vary. No suppressor – 120 ...
