Bought this Rem 700 a few years ago. I think I have shot 30 rounds through it, probably less. I did subsonic load development and thats it. Its a tack driver IMO with the load I worked(I will share it if I can find it LOL). Time to move on from it since I doubt I am going to ever really do much with...

How long are you waiting between strings of fire? It sounds a little like cold bore, BUT I cant see your barrel cooling that much between strings unless it takes you 30 minutes or an hour to walk down range to check your target and walk back.
