Re: What's the best site to buy guns online?

^^^ Slickguns.com is the best place to find the lowest prices. Most of the time I end up using grabagun.com. Ships fast, and cheap, no surcharge for using credit cards.

Re: Bullet choice

For range loads, I think the best value would be the Speer 125gr TNT bullets. They are very affordable in bulk. The longer profile loads better than 110gr bullets. I have found them to be very accurate. The Sierra 125gr Prohunter is very accurate as well but won't expand at Blackout velocities. Cost...

Re: 6.5 Creedmor more popular than 300 Blackout?

My next rifle will be in 6.5 Creedmore.
Can't decide between the Savage Stealth, Ruger PR, Tikka TAC, and a Begara. That and about $900-$1,600 is holding me back!

Re: Anybody here have an AR in 10mm Auto ?

One of the complications with the 10mm is that it would likely need to run as direct impingement due to the 37k pressure. Most 9mm ARs are simple blowback design and specify not to even use +P ammo due to extraction under pressure. Going to DI and a gas system with the tiny amount of gas generated b...

Re: 17 Winchester Super Magnum

I'd like to know if the accuracy has improved with the release of the HB versions. The initial ones with sporter barrels had very bad reviews, but since no one else made 17 WSM rifles hard to know if it is the ammo or the gun. Savage usually makes accurate rifles.

Re: Help with 90gr XTP Sub load

I loaded up about 30 with various charge weights of Unique. I never got very good accuracy with them. Around 1-1.5" at 25 yards out of the RARR. I too had hoped to use them on small game, but moved along to more accurate bullets. The Xtreme 150gr plated 30-30 bullet gave me much better accuracy...

Re: Magpul Hunter American Stock

Sounds promising but expensive. $300 for the stock and $40/magazine. If I bought it and 2 mags, that would exceed what I paid for the rifle

The Short Action AICS 10 round magazines for 223/5.56 are at Brownells for $40-70 ea

Re: Supersonic Powder Questions

Anything suppressed is going to be dirty. You set a lot of backpressure when running a can. That said, H110 is what I use as well. I prefer 125gr bullets, but the 110 Vmax is good too. I didn't like the Hornady 110 SP, too short for me. Resulted in really long jumps and very little bullet in the cas...

Re: 9mm Build Issues - Bolt Won't Cycle

I haven't had any feeding/reliability problems with the ASC mags. I've run the 10, 20 and 32 round mags with my CMMG lower. The Metalform mags are much nicer and always lock the bolt open, the ASC mags sometimes fail to lock the bolt back on empty. Love running a 165gr 9mm suppressed. Much easier to...

Re: picking up some bullets tomorrow

You left off another excellent bullet, Nosler 125gr BT. Works great for me on Ga hogs, using a 8.5" SBR, thru shots, dropped in its tracks. One went thru both shoulders.

Of the choices you listed, 125gr SST.
