Re: New RRAR with AR mag issues

Sounds like the Amax loads are too long for the chamber. If your crimp is not too tight, you can measure a round before and after chambering to see if it got shorter. Check both the bullet length and also the base to datum line. Take the bolt out, slide a round in and press it into the chamber with...

I was pointing out that it's one with the new AR mags but I see how it can be taken wrong.

Re: New RRAR with AR mag issues

Another thing I just noticed when looking at the feed ramps to see if they need polishing is I can see three threads from the receiver. It looks like the barrel can be screwed in another three threads into the receiver. I've been shooting 300BLK since they first came out but this is my first bolt ac...

Feeding issues with new RRAR (AR mag)

I got a new RRAR that takes AR mags. It comes with a 10 round PMag. I won't be able to get out and shoot for about a week but this is my issue. I Put 10 rounds of my 208gr AMAX loads in the mag to see how they'd feed and the bolt is extremely tight when trying to close the bolt, to the point where I...

Re: Hornady 190 Sub-X test

I was literally about to hit the order button on some Lehigh Maximum Expansion bullets, but I just placed an order for 5 boxes of the Sub-X instead. I hope they perform well with the cost of the Sub-X at less than half the cost of the Maximum Expansions. I ordered the new RARR and it should be deliv...

Re: Exit wounds

I know way too many people that have lost deer using the SST in different calibers because no pass through and no blood trail. I was at the range towards the end of deer season last year, testing some sub loads in my BLK and a guy was there sighting in his rifle. He said that he missed a huge buck a...

Re: New suppressor to test out soon! (Ultra 7)

Cool! You've got to shoot it side by side the Omega! Would love to see the results! I am willing to bet that the Ultra 7 will overall outperform the Omega and the Saker as far as POI, repeatability and groupings go. TBAC is known for being some of the best suppressors for repeatability and accuracy...

My distributors don't have the 9" in stock. Only the 16". Check with one of your local SOT's if you want the complete SBR.
