recently tried an OSS suppressor, it pretty much totally eliminates blowback on 5.56. pretty impressive. got a chance to run it on a beltfed SAW, that was pretty cool. would have been unusuably gassy with any other suppressor. Ported suppressors aren't a new thing...well at least not here. They ten...

the common misconception is that gas face is caused by gases coming down the gas tube. gas blow back is mostly gases coming back down the barrel from the suppressor when the bolt is open. very little of it is due to gas coming down the gas tube. most gas that comes down the gas tube is vented out th...

I've found the AR15 gas vent is the best solution by far.
