Re: outlaw state 220gr lead tip spitzer
I have loaded up some of the Outlaw 220 expanding subsonic bullets. I loaded a bunch for an outfit that was doing a show for the Discovery Channel about hunting pigs. They reported back much better results than the standard 208 A-max and 220 SMK, non expanding bullets used as a sub. The only draw ba...

I'll say this, then I am done with the junior high school BS. If you need to reach me, call me. Don't hide behind a key board with a fake name. Don't keep posting everywhere about how you think someone is getting screwing over. Grow some balls and call me. We'll talk it over. I'm not out to screw pe...

Re: 300 Blackout Accuracy
The blk out is spec'd with a 1:8" twist. It will stabilize all the heavy bullets, except the 240 SMK, which needs a 1:7". It will stabilize a 245 grain RN cast bullet, though. Bullet stability is based on bullet length, not the actual weight. And the 245 cast is much shorter than the 240 S...

Re: Cooper Cartridge Company ammo failures
I'm sorry, I won't post the 2 companies that have produced out of spec barrels. If you search about it, you can find it. (I don't believe it's right to dog someone on an open forum). I had a conference call yesterday with one of them with my customer and the mfg. They addmitted that there is some is...

Re: What kind of accuracy are you getting with Barnes Black
It depends on your load and how your rifle likes that load. There is a definite sweet spot with the 110 grain bullets I have found. The bullets themselves are very accurate. Your rifle may not like the load being used, i.e.- the powder and/or powder charge.

Re: Cooper Cartridge Company ammo failures
It functions fine with other ammo, you know where the fault lies. That is not a 100% correct statement. The factory brass, like Hornady Whisper and 300 blk out head stamped brass, is a thinner brass. The cut down 5.56 brass is much thicker, especially in the neck and case web area. This added thick...

Re: Cooper Cartridge Company ammo failures
The AAC rifles I have not seen an issue with. I have seen several other chamber issues were the chamber is out of spec by over .004" of an inch. One is a well known blk out rifle producer, and has posted they had chambers out of spec. I can drop my ammo (loaded with cut down 5.56 brass) in cham...

Re: Bolt will not cam over and close on some rounds.
Why can't you just pull the primer pin and expander ball and nudge the shoulder back? (You can, that's how one makes 50 DTC) It's unlikely for cartridge to go off, but if it did, die is not designed to hold the pressure. Pushing shoulder back, on loaded round, is not the safest practice. While you ...

Re: 300 AAC Blackout ammunition-110 V-max, 208 A-max, 110 Ba
I sent Chad some brass to load with a check in May and haven't seen either since. And you won't. Our deal is done. Now go away. You stole my brass. Why would I go away? My address is 2560 King Arthur Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75056. Come see me and you can have your brass back. I'll shove each pi...
